In The World You Will Face Persecution.

Jn. 16:29-35

The expectation of every believer is that we come to Christ Jesus that He may help us get rid of our problems and burdens. It is true that He has the power to solve all problems and He does solve them. But the irony is that the life of a Christian is not always smooth all the way. Jesus here predicts that those who follow Him will come across persecutions (troubles and burdens) in various ways and sizes. 2 Tim. 3:12 emphasised this: all those who desire to live a godly life will meet with persecutions. Rather than becoming discouraged, Christians are enjoined to be of good cheer, that is, to take courage, and be confident and undaunted. The basis for this attitude is the victory which Jesus has gained over the world and its systems by triumphing over the devil and his hosts, who are behind the suffering of believers. Christians should bear in mind that persecution is inevitable as Jesus made us to understand that we should not surrender to the attack. Shalom!

Point of Emphasis:     It is ONLY in the Lord Jesus you can have perfect peace. Hold unto Him

Prayer Point:              Help me Lord, Jesus to realise that you are with me whenever I am passing through fire.
