Be Convinced About Your Vision And Be Ready To Die For It
2 Tim. 4:1-8
Apostle Paul was a man of conviction, with a strong belief in what God called him to do and was ready to die for it – For I am now ready to be offered – v6. Paul was such a man who was unstoppable by persecutions, trials, dangers, etc. He knew why God called him and that he had to pay sacrifices to achieve his vision. There is urgency in the kingdom of God , and vision is not wasted on the double-minded. There are people with wrong convictions in the world today and you see them being used as suicide bombers to kill innocent people. The issue here is that although their reasons are wrong and their end result is hell fire, they are convinced about their reasons for doing what they are doing and indeed give their lives for it. How convinced are you about your God’s given vision? You need to be convinced about it and be ready to give all for the purpose of fulfilling the vision.
Point of Emphasis: God’s vision is not wasted on the double-minded.
Prayer Point: Help me to give all to sustain the vision you have given me, oh Lord.
