All Gifts Are Important
Rom. 12: 3-8
All the gifts and talents from God are good and perfect, (Jam. 1:17). No gift from God is of lower value. It is an insult to God to conclude in your heart that the gift He gave to you is not of value. People fail to use their gifts most times because they don’t appreciate what God has given them. Some have not discovered their gifts, others who have even discovered their gifts do not value the gifts. Many abandoned the gifts and talents they received from God and they are busy envying and talking ill about those whose gifts are prominent. All gifts and talents are good. Those gifted in miracles are not better than those who are in help ministry. God gives to men as He wills. Before He gave you the gift, He must have seen the need for it in your environment. There are people waiting to be blessed through that gift and talent that you do not value. Some will fast and pray for several days for prominent gifts of the Holy Spirit while they are not bothered about their God-given gifts and talents. Please note that you are not qualified for more gifts until you have maximised the ones you were earlier given, (Matt. 25: 21-23). All the gifts of the Holy Spirit are to be valued. Perhaps you are gifted with miracles and healings, please serve with humility. Do not trample upon those who have teaching as gift. Your gift should not in any way change your nature. Remember, you are a man and not God!
POINT OF EMPHASIS: You are not qualified for more gifts until you have fully utilised the ones given to you earlier.
PRAYER POINT: Lord, help me to always appreciate Your grace and use my gifts and talents to Your glory.
