Walk In The Spirit

Gal. 5:13-18

The scripture read today admonishes us to walk in the spirit (Gal. 5:16). To live in the Spirit is to have the Holy Spirit, to follow His directions and obey Him to the letter. People who live in the Spirit will find it easy to please God in their daily endeavours and will not fulfil the desires of the flesh. When we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will not go astray for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. It takes real determination to attain spiritual discipline. Your personal sense of purpose will make you to develop a holy longing to please God. Don’t surrender to the circumstances around you. Surrender to Paul’s admonition for believers to live in the Spirit so as not to fulfil the lusts of the flesh. Say emphatical no to worldly pleasures. Walk in the spirit, so that your worship may no longer be hindered.

Point of Emphasis:  Those who live in the Spirit will not fulfil the desires of the flesh.

Prayer Point:  Holy Spirit, help me to live by Your dictates all my life.
