Hindrance To Prayer

Isa 59:1-4

Sin hinders prayer. The hand of the Lord is not shortened that He cannot save. It is our sins that separate us from Him. Prayers are unanswered when believers take pleasure in or commit sin. God wants us to separate ourselves from sin. Have you ever considered the fact that if you refuse to listen to God He will also not listen to you?. The Psalmist says “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” (Ps 66:18) Your iniquity might be the cause of unanswered prayers. Are you experiencing moments of dryness and unanswered prayer? Why not look inward and see if there is any sin in your life that may be the cause.

Point of Emphasis: But your iniquities have separated you and your God (verse 2)

Prayer Point: Father, please take away all sins that may hinder my prayer and help me to live a holy life.
