Moses The Meekest Man
Num. 12:1-8
Moses grew up in the palace of Pharaoh. He was called by God to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. He spoke with God face to face and experienced God’s first hand miracle. His curriculum vitae show that he was of higher pedigree than anyone else in his generation. In spite of these qualifications, Moses remained a meek person, the meekest man on earth. His siblings talked against him because of his wife. It takes meekness to have such status and remain calm and gentle under provocation. Many of us lose control under very little provocation. It is a sign of lack of the spirit of meekness. We need the Holy Spirit to break us down, and fill us so that the fruit of the Holy Spirit can manifest in our lives. God rose to defend Moses by rebuking Aaron and Miriam. Moses was still the one pleading with God to heal Miriam.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: When you are meek, God fights your battle for you.
PRAYER POINT: Holy Spirit, bring forth Your fruit in my life in Jesus’ name.
