A Sinner Incurs God’s Anger
Ps. 7:8-16
A wicked person is a sinner and a sinner is wicked. Look at what the Psalmist says the wicked does: he brings forth iniquity, he conceives trouble for others, he brings forth falsehood, he digs pit for people to fall in and die or be injured etc. (vv. 14-15). Anyone who indulges in such evil acts is a sinner and the Bible says God is angry with the wicked everyday (v. 11). This means God is not happy with the sinner, He can’t show His favour to a sinner and He can’t defend the sinner. No wonder He allows the wicked to fall into the ditch or pit that he made for others. Are you a sinner? Can you withstand the anger of God? Can you say like the Psalmist that God should judge you with your deeds? (v. 8). Think on your ways of life.
Point of Emphasis: God is angry with the wicked, not once in a while, but everyday.
Prayer Point: Lord, I need Your favour and not Your anger, I repent of all my sins today.
