DAILY BIBLE READING
We Declare To You Glad Tidings
Acts 13:13-32
In Paul’s first missionary journey, when he got to Antioch of Pisidia and was given the opportunity to share the word of exhortation with the people, he took them through the salvation history beginning from the Old Testament and ending it with the coming of Christ, the Saviour of the world, how He died and was raised up by God for man’s salvation. He then told them that he and his team were declaring to the people the glad tidings that was promised to their forefathers. Know that the gospel of Christ is a glad tidings. When you preach the gospel, it makes the sinners to become saints, makes the barren to become fruitful, makes the sorrowful to become joyful and gives hope to the hopeless. Like Paul and his team, you must also make a resolve to always declare the glad tidings of Jesus’ salvation to sinners.
Point of Emphasis: Declare the gospel everywhere you go.
Prayer Point: Help me Lord not to be ashamed to declare the gospel of Jesus always.
