Sanctified By Jesus’ Blood

Heb. 9:11-15

The blood of Jesus is a multi-purpose blood. It is the blood that purchased our regeneration and the same blood sanctifies us. In the Old Testament, it is the blood of goats and bulls that were used by the Priest to effect sanctification. But when God saw the inadequacy of the blood of animals, He allowed Jesus Christ to come and shed His precious blood. His blood cleanses our conscience and lives from dead, unclean and abominable works. In other words, making us holy and willing and ready to serve the living God. Have you been sanctified by Jesus’ blood. That blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel or animals (Heb. 12:24).

Point of Emphasis: The blood of animals stain but Jesus’ blood cleanses and purifies.

Prayer Point:            Lord, sanctify me by Your blood.

SANCTIFIE(E) PAR LE SANG DE JESUS

HEB. 9 :11-15

Le sang de Jésus est un sang à usages multiples. C’est le sang qui a servi à acquérir notre régénération et ce même sang nous sanctifie. Dans l’Ancien Testament, c’était le sang des chèvres et des taureaux, qui était utilisé par le sacrificateur pour effectuer la sanctification. Mais quand Dieu nota l’inadéquation du sang des animaux, il permit que Jésus-Christ vienne répandre son sang précieux. Son sang purifie notre vie et notre conscience d’œuvres abominables, impures et mortes autrement dit nous rend saints et désireux et prêts à servir le Dieu vivant. As-tu été sanctifié(e) par le sang de Jésus? Ce sang parle mieux que celui d’Abel et des animaux. (Héb. 12:24).

Point essentiel : Le sang des animaux est salissant mais le sang de Jésus nettoie et purifie.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, sanctifie-moi par ton sang.
