DAILY BIBLE READING
Be Eager To Preach The Gospel
Rom. 1:1-17
Paul said so many things in this passage about his disposition to the gospel. He said he was eager and ready to preach the gospel to those in Rome. As a matter of fact, he was longing to see them so that he might preach the gospel to them. Also, he said that he was not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation and it is in the gospel that you could find the righteousness of God. How many Christians pray on daily basis for opportunity to preach the gospel? Our response to this question will tell us whether we are eager or not. We are quick to pray to God for promotion, for blessings, etc. These are good, but we must learn to be ready and eager to preach the gospel so as to be pleasing to God.
Point of Emphasis: The gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.
Prayer Point: Oh Lord, help me to pray for, and put preaching of the gospel on my daily routine.
