The Stewardship Of Money
Deut. 8:11-18
We often focus on money when we discuss giving, probably because it is the one thing people find most difficult to part with. There are other resources which God has given to us that we can also give: our time, energy and talents. Whatever resource that we may have is given by God; we should never forget this. A sure way to keep us remembering the true source of our resources is to make personal covenant with God to be good stewards by giving. Majority of believers renege on paying tithes, which is one-tenth of one’s income or profit. Other areas of good stewardship is to give offering, which is a voluntary giving outside of tithe; to give to ministers of God so that their needs can be adequately met; to give towards projects in the house of God; to give to the needy around us. Giving is a matter of attitude and not a matter of being rich or poor. There is no poor person whom God has not blessed with some resources.
Point of Emphasis: You are a good steward of resources under your care when you give as directed by God.
Prayer Point: God, I make a covenant to be a good steward of all You have given me.

LA GESTION DE L’ARGENT
DEUT. 8 :11-18
