Covet Earnestly The Best Gifts

1 Cor. 12:20-31

Apostle Paul enumerates various spiritual gifts in this passage and explains how they should be received, seen, valued and handled. We must know one thing that there is no single one among all these gifts that is inferior to any other. Those ones we might think are not important, are indeed very important just as there is no part of our body that is not significant in its own right. Whatever gift you are given, appreciate it, value it and use it to glorify God. However, if you still desire any gift, Paul says you have the grace to desire it and earnestly pray to the Holy Spirit to give it to you, who may or may not give you considering your ability and the motive for your asking.

Point of Emphasis:     You may not have all the gifts but you can ask for more.

Prayer Point:              Lord, I desire this gift as addition (mention it), give me Lord.

CONVOITE AVEC FERVEUR LES MEILLEURS DONS

1Co. 12 :20-31

L’apôtre Paul énumère les divers dons spirituels  dans ce passage et explique comment ils doivent être reçus, perçus, valorisés et traités. Nous devons savoir une chose, c’est qu’il n’existe parmi eux aucun qui soit inférieur à l’autre. Ceux que nous pensons ne pas être importants, sont en fait très importants tout juste comme il n’existe aucune partie de notre corps qui ne soit elle-même significative. Quel que soit le don qui t’a été donné, apprécie-le, valorise-le et utilise-le pour glorifier Dieu. Néanmoins, si tu as encore besoin d’un don quelconque, Paul dit que tu as la grâce de le désirer et de prier avec ferveur le Saint-Esprit de te le donner, qui pourrait soit te le donner ou pas étant donné ta capacité et le motif de ta demande.

Point essentiel : Tu pourrais ne pas avoir tous les dons mais tu peux en demander davantage.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, je désire  ce don en plus (mentionne le don en question), accorde-le moi.
