Design Your Strategy

Acts 14: 21-28

Strategy takes you from where you are to where your goal is located. In simpler words, your strategy entails the steps you will take to realise your goal or vision. That is what you do to achieve your goal. Paul preached the Gospel to the Gentiles, and that was his life’s assignment. His strategies included: preaching the word whether convenient or otherwise; working with strategic partners such as Barnabas, Silas, Timothy, Titus, etc, planting churches in Gentile communities, appointing elders to oversee the churches he planted; writing letters to the churches – whether to answer their questions or to encourage or even rebuke them; and above all he relied on the Holy Spirit. God gives the vision; He assigns the purpose and destiny, but you must plan your strategies yourself. Whilst working with your strategies, God promises to help you. The initiative and planning must be your sole responsibility. If you must win, succeed and prosper you must engage effective strategies.
