Moses, At Jesus’ Transfiguration
Matt. 17:1-4
In Nigeria, the President is the number one citizen of the Country. Therefore, it is always a great honour to be invited by the President and to sit, talk and dine with him. Jesus is the Messiah and is the greatest among human beings that have ever lived on earth. God declared that He is His only begotten Son in whom He is well pleased. To have contact with such a great Hero is a privilege. God arranged it for Moses, though long dead before Jesus’ ministry, to see Jesus and talk with Him on earth and see his prophecy about Jesus being fulfilled right in his presence (Deut. 18:15-22). This is a great honour that God can do to any mortal being who loves and does His will.
Point of Emphasis: Moses was privileged to share in Jesus’ glory.
Prayer Point: Lord, let Your glory be seen in me by all flesh.
