The Word Of God Is Powerful
2 Tim. 3:14-17
The Word of God has been given to Christians by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and it enriches us as we read and meditate on it. The mind of God has been revealed to us through the Bible. It should be the handbook of every Christian as we journey along in this world. As we study the Bible, the Word of God teaches us, encourages us, trains us in righteousness, as well as corrects and scolds us when necessary. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the word of God is alive and active with power that can transform lives. The Word of God judges the thoughts and attitudes of our hearts. Studying the Bible and living our lives according to the instructions given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit is profitable for us in every facet of our lives.
