Relationship Marked By The Fruit Of The Holy Spirit
Gal. 5:22-23
Inter-personal relationship within a congregation runs smoothly when some ingredients are in place. These ingredients are only produced as the Holy Spirit works in the life of individual Christians. When a Christian refuses to submit his life for the Holy Spirit to work on, he lacks the fruit of the Spirit. Such a Christian remains a spiritual babe and a problem in the relationship within the church. God’s plan is that the Holy Spirit produces the ingredients in the Christian – love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, etc. It is when the fruit manifests in each individual’s life that it becomes effective in the congregation. Sometimes it is the person lacking the fruit of the Spirit that complains that the ingredients are absent in a church. Every Christian should desire the fruit of the Spirit to manifest in his life.
Point of Emphasis: The fruit of the Holy Spirit in every member’s life makes inter-personal relationship possible.
Prayer Point: Holy Spirit, take control of my life so that I can bear fruit that will have positive effect on my interaction with other brethren.
