Great Joy – Philip In Samaria
Acts 8:4-8
Philip indeed lived as salt in his time. He turned the world around for God. He was a diligent evangelist who understood the purpose of his salvation and the mandate of heaven on him. He moved the city simply with the message of salvation and nothing else. The Bible records that there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents. If there is joy in heaven on the sinner, what will be the heaven’s response over those who turn people unto godliness simply by opening their mouths? People who proclaim the good tidings trying to salvage lives, the world and promote the kingdom of God are the salt. Are you salt? Are you turning people to God by what you say or do? Are you living as salt on a daily basis and in all circumstances?
POINT OF EMPHASIS: If there is joy in heaven over a sinner, what will be heaven’s response over those who turn people unto godliness?
PRAYER POINT: Help me Lord to be salt, turning sinners unto righteous living.
