How Would You Be Remembered?

1 Kgs. 15:25-26

Have you ever given serious thought to how you will be remembered? How will people measure your life? What kind of an impression or impact will you have made on others? King Jeroboam will forever be remembered as a king that misled a whole nation. His reign over 10 tribes of Israel was associated with idolatry and wickedness. 19 times in the scripture, Jeroboam was referred to as the man “who caused Israel to sin”. Jeroboam started this national rebellion; his sons and many generations after him followed his footsteps. “Now Nadab the son of Jeroboam became king over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel two years. He did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father and in his sin which he made Israel sin” (1 Kgs. 15:25-26). I entreat you to refocus on your purpose if you have gone off-track and begin to create Biblical legacies wherever you might be, even if you have never considered that a priority before.

Point of Emphasis:   I plead with you to refocus on your purpose if you have gotten off-track. Start to create Biblical legacies wherever you might be.

Prayer Point:            Oh Lord, help me to leave behind a testimony of faith and commitment in Your vineyard.
