Demonstrate Your Knowledge Of God By Love

1 Jn. 4:7-16

God is Love personified. The attribute of His divine majesty so clearly shines in the entire world as His communicative goodness, which is love. He came from a height so high to save us from the depth of sin and corruption so low! He demonstrated His love by giving us His only begotten Son. If we are truly God’s children and we really resemble Him, we must also be given to the life of love and giving. God is love, His nature, His works, His deeds are primarily love. He loved us when we had no love for Him, when we lay in our guilt and misery. When we were undeserving, polluted, and unclean. Jesus died for us once condemned to death, that we might live through Him. Why won’t you allow people to live also through your kindness, your good deeds and works of charity? If God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Prayer Point: Help me today O Lord and always to demonstrate Your love by my deeds to people.
