Light To The Gentiles
Acts 13:44-52
“Darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the people” (Isaiah 60:2a). Christians live in a world covered with darkness of moral degradation and total disregard of God’s commandments. The Christian who has received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour has become light. The Christian is expected to tell others about the salvation through the atoning death of Jesus Christ. In our relationship with other people, we should not ignore their spiritual need for salvation. The fact that some group close to us reject the gospel should not discourage us. When the Jews rejected the gospel, Paul went to relate with the Gentiles. Evangelism can be carried out using friendship method. Our desire and goal should be to use our relationship with those who have not believed to come to the knowledge of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Point of Emphasis: I have set you as a light to the Gentiles that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.
Prayer Point: Father, make me a channel through which people around me will be saved.
