Instruments Of Salvation
1 Cor. 7:13-16; 1 Pet. 3:1-2
A Christian comes in contact with non-Christians daily, sometimes he has to relate with these non-Christians at close contact. An example is someone married to a non-Christian. Many a times such relationship does generate some friction, and it is natural to want to run away from the relationship. The Christian can surrender himself to God to be used as an instrument to bring the unbeliever to the knowledge of Christ’s saving grace. In order for the relationship to bring forth the fruit of salvation, the Christian will have to be broken down fully and allow the Holy Spirit to work through him. Being an instrument in God’s hand for the salvation of others is not limited to husband-wife relationship alone. It applies also to any relationship a believer is involved in where the other partner is an unbeliever.
Point of Emphasis: God can use a believing partner to turn an unbelieving partner to Himself.
Prayer Point: I yield myself to You O God, use me as an instrument to turn those I relate with to Yourself.
