You Are The Epistle Of Christ
2 Cor. 3:1-7
As apostle Paul has declared, believers are the epistle of Christ known and read by all men (v. 2). The unbelievers that we are living with may not go to church or read the Bible, but they hear the gospel message through means such as radio, television, tracts, house-to-house evangelism, etc, and as such know little of what God is expecting from His children. Though they cannot do those things, yet they believe that anyone who calls himself a child of God must do them. Hence, once they see a supposedly child of God doing contrary to those standards, they quickly interject “And you call yourself a Christian”. This means unbelievers are watching you, so don’t drag the name of Christ in the mud in your community.
Point of Emphasis: You are being watched and read by all, so align with Christ.
Prayer Point: Help me Lord not to bring dishonour to the name of Jesus through my actions, reactions and inactions.
