Commitment To Faithfulness
Lk. 12:42-48
Jesus uses the illustration of the faithful and the unfaithful servants to show two possible ways of living to all believers. They can be faithful, obedient, watchful and spiritually ready for the Lord’s return, or be careless and unfaithful. The unfaithful do not resist sin and they are worldly. Those who want to be good ambassadors of Christ here on Earth must be committed to faithfulness. If you are faithful, you will definitely receive the master’s blessings on Earth and in the life to come. The unfaithful will inherit everlasting shame. It is never too late for the unfaithful in the church to repent from their sinful ways. There is an opportunity for you today to join the faithful ones in the church of God; Jesus is coming to take home those that are faithful in His glorious church. Enlist yourself among the faithful ones if you were not among them before now.
Point of Emphasis: The faithful are obedient and spiritually ready for the Lord’s return.
Prayer Point: Give me grace O Lord to be among the faithful ones in Your glorious church and make me eligible for Your eternal kingdom.
