Speak The Same Thing

1 Cor. 1:4-10

Have you ever been in a meeting where there is violent disagreement? When we see a person as an enemy or antagonist, we tend to hold on to a view that is opposite to the view he proposes, irrespective of how sound and reasonable his view may be. Among Christians, such a stance should not be taken. If there is disagreement it should not be because of animosity but based on sound biblical principles clothed in love. We should avoid labelling other Christians as our enemy or as belonging to an opposing camp. Every true child of God should belong to the same camp – that of the living God. We should therefore strive to work together with the same mind of bringing glory to God. Everyone’s judgment on a particular issue should be the same as God’s.

Point of Emphasis: Avoid divisions within the church, speak the same thing and have the same mind.

Prayer Point: I pray that the seed of division that the enemy has planted in our church be burnt by the fire of the Holy Spirit.
