Operate Under Unity Of The Spirit

Eph. 4:1-6

Christians have been called into the bond of love in One Spirit – the Holy Spirit, who should be dwelling in each person. The church of God has just One Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ. We were all baptized into His death and we all have one faith in the same Saviour. We all have the same God as our Father. With so much in common, there ought to be no division within the church. The Holy Spirit within us cannot fight Himself, if indeed every one of us is under His control. The same Lord to whom we bow cannot antagonize Himself, if indeed we all submit to His lordship. If there is division in the church, it must mean that members have allowed a strange spirit to enter and operate. As long as the Holy Spirit is the One operating among us, there will be harmony and peace.

Point of Emphasis: Endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Prayer Point: Holy Spirit, bind us together with love, humility and forbearance.
