Keep God’s Commands

Gen. 2:15-17

I know many people would be asking the question “why did God have to even create a tree that will cause man to sin?” However, no one will ask “why did God have to make Adam and Eve comfortable in the garden?” This is because; an average man wants pleasure and comforts without restriction. We need to know that every privilege and provision carry with the responsibility on the part of the receiver. When we buy electronics and the manual instructs us not to do certain things because they may damage the product, how many of us usually go against the instructions? Let us know that God’s commandments are not meant to destroy us, neither are they grievous, they are meant to bring out the better man in us.

Point of Emphasis: To avoid sin, keep God’s commandments.

Prayer Point:           Lord, help me to stay in Your boundary and do Your will always.
