Be Kind To One Another

Eph. 4:25-32

We live in a society where the bowels of mercy and kindness of many people have been shut. The situation of the nation’s economy is not helping matters. Majority of the people are now living for themselves, making it difficult to extend kindness to others in need. But for Christians, kindness is one of the aspects of the fruit of the Spirit that we are expected to bear. It should be running in our blood. We must have pity for others in need and that pity must propel us to do something to assist no matter how little. Also, kindness entails being polite to others, even if they have wronged you or they are asking for assistance you cannot render, don’t be harsh with them, rather be kind in your reaction so that they will know that though you can’t help them but you have concern for them.

Point of Emphasis:     Kindness begets kindness.

Prayer Point:              Lord, be kind to me, as I am also kind to others.
