Bible Is Life Manual

Deut. 17:14-20

Rulers, especially kings, in the olden days had unquestionable authority over their subjects. God foresaw what kings would want to do when enthroned. To forestall ungodly rule, God gave instruction that the king should get a copy of the laws He had given to guide him in his actions. The Bible is not just for rulers but for every human being. God has given us, in the Bible, instructions to guide us and control our actions in everyday circumstances we find ourselves. Every gadget comes with an operation manual or users’ guide written by the manufacturer. Successful operation of the gadget requires the operator to follow the instructions in the manual. The Bible is the operation guide, which God, the giver of life, has written down for us to follow if we are to fulfil our destinies for which we were created. Do not take the Bible as a last resort after everything else has failed but the first and most important guide to consult.

Point of Emphasis:        The Bible is the manual given by God for success in life.

Prayer Point:            Lord, I receive understanding of Your word as I read. Let it guide me throughout my life in Jesus’ name.
