Continuing Earnestly In Prayer

Col. 4:2-6

A Church that wants to keep the fire of revival burning needs to mobilise her members for continual praying. The fire on the prayer altar of the members needs to be kindled and rekindled again and again. Many Church members depend only on corporate prayers when the whole Church is gathered; they find it difficult to pray in their closet. Others do not have time or interest for both personal and corporate prayers. How is the prayer altar of your Church? Do you have a personal prayer altar – a time when you meet with God personally in prayer? Is the fire on your prayer altar still burning or is it dying out? When the fire on your stove is out, all manners of croaches will crawl on it.

Point of Emphasis:    Keep the fire on the prayer altar always burning.

Prayer Point:             Father, ignite us afresh to pray without ceasing.
