DAILY BIBLE READING
The Gospel Cannot Be Hindered
Acts 4:1-22
The devil is a liar and the father of it. He is always antagonizing the gospel. At times, he compels those in government to promulgate a decree or set of rules and regulations that hinder the preaching of the gospel. But the fact of the matter is that the word of God cannot be chained or hindered. We heard of people who deviced all God-given means to penetrate countries where they do not want to see Christians or the Bible. The apostles confronted the rulers that they would rather obey God than men in the preaching of the gospel. We may not have open confrontation with the laws negating the preaching of the gospel if we are not led to do so, but we can pray to God to lead us and give us methods that we can be using to reach people with the gospel and He will do it.
Point of Emphasis: We don’t have any excuse not to preach the gospel.
Prayer Point: Lord, give me boldness to confront every challenge and challenger of the gospel.
