When people are bereaved or experienced any calamity, human words or counsel are not sufficient to give the desired comfort to the people concerned. It is the Holy Spirit who is the Great Comforter and Counseler. Human comfort, at times, may still bring more weeping and hardship or blasphemy but the comfort given by the Holy Spirit is always gentle and it brings total healing to the sorrow being experienced. Jesus told the disciples that He will not leave them as orphans but will send the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to love, cherish, console, comfort and encourage them. Have you been enjoying the comfort of the Holy Spirit? You can start today by allowing Him to dwell with you and to be in you.

Quand les gens sont endeuillés ou sont l’objet d’une calamité quelconque, les paroles ou conseils humains ne suffisent pas pour donner le confort désiré aux concernés. C’est le Saint-Esprit qui est le Grand Consolateur et Conseiller. La consolation humaine peut souvent apporter plus de pleurs et de souffrance ou blasphème mais celle procurée par le Saint-Esprit est toujours douce et donne une guérison totale à la souffrance endurée. Jésus dit aux disciples qu’il ne les laissera pas comme des orphelins mais  enverra le Consolateur, l’Esprit Saint, pour les aimer, chérir, consoler, conforter et encourager. Jouis-tu du réconfort du Saint-Esprit ? Tu pourrais commencer dès aujourd’hui à lui permettre de demeurer en toi et d’être avec toi.

Point essentiel : Le Saint-Esprit est le Consolateur des croyants, leur avocat, défenseur et conseiller.
