Keep Believing Even Against All Odds 

Rom. 4:17-25

While exercising faith in God, at times, the promise might be delayed and one may be tempted to think that probably God has changed His mind and is not interested in bringing to pass what He has promised. This may not be so but it is the nature of faith to keep on trusting and believing God, even when the present reality is not encouraging. Abraham demonstrated this by believing in hope even against hope. He did not consider the deadness of his body and that of Sarah’s womb as an impediment against the fulfillment of God’s promise of procreation. He was not weak in faith and eventually, he got what he hoped for. You must follow Abraham’s example in exercising your faith in God.

Point of Emphasis: Don’t give up yet, God has not finished with you.

Prayer Point:            Lord, strengthen my faith in You.

CONTINUE A CROIRE MEME CONTRE TOUTE ATTENTE

RO. 4 :17-25            

En exerçant la foi en Dieu, il arrive souvent que la promesse ait un peu de retard et que l’on soit tenté de penser que Dieu ait sans doute changé d’avis et ne soit plus intéressé à réaliser ce qu’il a promis. Cela peut ne pas être vrai car la nature de la foi c’est de continuer à croire et à mettre sa confiance en Dieu, quand même la réalité qui prévaut n’est pas encourageante. Abraham démontra cela en croyant dans l’espoir tout comme dans le désespoir. Il n’a pas considéré l’engourdissement de son corps et celui de l’utérus de Sara comme obstacle à l’accomplissement de la promesse procréative de Dieu. Sa foi ne s’affaiblit point et il finit par avoir ce qu’il espérait. Tu dois suivre l’exemple d’Abraham en exerçant ta foi en Dieu.                              

Point essentiel : Ne cède pas car Dieu n’a pas encore fini avec toi.
