Revive Your Work In Our Midst 

Hab. 3:1-7

The prophet recalled the mighty works which God had performed in the past – in creation, in delivering His people from their enemies, in fighting those who poses themselves as His enemies. He then prayed to God to revive His work in the midst of His people, that is, for God to perform His mighty acts again. In Church history, there are records of great revivals that had occurred. The Church needs to cry to God afresh, seeking His face for Him to send down revival into our Churches. Without this fervent cry, we should not expect lasting revival to occur in our Churches. Revival occurs only when Christians are hungry and thirsty for it.

Point of Emphasis:    Praying for revival is non-negotiable, if revival will occur.

Prayer Point:             O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years, in wrath remember mercy.

ACCOMPLIS TON ŒUVRE PARMI NOUS

HAB. 3:1-7

Le prophète se rappela des grandes œuvres que Dieu avait autrefois accomplies – à savoir la création et la délivrance de son peuple de leurs ennemis en combattant ceux qui se tenaient pour ses ennemis. Il pria donc à Dieu d’accomplir son œuvre parmi son peuple, c’est-à-dire pour Dieu d’accomplir de nouveau ses grands faits. Dans l’histoire de l’Eglise, il y a des rapports sur de grands réveils qui eurent lieu. L’Eglise a besoin, de nouveau, de crier à Dieu, en cherchant sa face pour qu’il envoie le réveil dans nos églises. Sans ce cri fervent, nous ne devons pas espérer qu’un réveil durable ait lieu dans nos églises. Le réveil n’a seulement lieu que lorsque les chrétiens en sont assoiffés et affamés.

Point essentiel : Prier pour le réveil n’est pas (chose) à négocier si le réveil doit avoir lieu.

Axe de prière : Éternel, accomplis ton œuvre dans le cours des années, mais dans ta colère souviens-toi de tes compassions!
