We Are To Suffer For Christ
Phil. 1:27-30
There are some people who cause disunity in the Church due to their unruly behaviors, but you should be firmly united in Spirit to fight for the faith which the gospel brings. God has given you the privilege not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for Him. The same cause which Christ Jesus, Paul and other disciples suffered for even unto death, is the same we are called to. Many scholars believe that Paul wrote this epistle from a jail cell in Rome about the time when Nero began throwing Christians to ravenous lions and burning them as touches to light his banquets. This letter of encouragement proves that nothing is powerful enough to stamp out reason for joy in the Lord.
Point of Emphasis: Believers are not only called to believe in Christ but also to suffer for Him.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me not to be intimidated by my enemies. Help me as I contend for the faith.

NOUS DEVONS SOUFFRIR POUR CHRIST
PHILIPPIENS 1:27-30
