Developing The Mind Of Christ

Eph. 4:17-32

Daily devotion will bring several benefits to the Christians. One of the benefits, which is uppermost in the mind of God, is to remold the Christians to have the mind of Christ. The immature Christians battle with temptation to live as unbelievers, with understanding darkened and being alienated from the life of God. During devotions, God works on the Christian to replace the futile mind with that of Christ. The Christian is also prepared for challenges ahead as seeds of the word are deposited in his heart. The seed is activated at the time it is needed to confront the specific challenge the Christian is facing. As the Christian develops the mind of Christ, his values begin to change. He begins to value more eternal things instead of temporal worldly things. As the Christian grows spiritually, there is a deposit of divine wisdom in his heart. Divine wisdom helps him escape having to learn life’s lesson through unpleasant experiences.

Point of Emphasis:        God is waiting for you to come near so that He can make you what He wants you to be.

Prayer Point:            You are the potter, I am the clay. Make me what You want me to be, oh Lord.
