Repay Evil With Good

1 Thess. 5:1-15

We are children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  Thus our actions and behaviours should reflect the light and not works of darkness like ill-treating others and other appearances of evil. We should live in love in relating to others, support the weak and respect our leaders. We were condemned criminals, doomed for eternal damnation, but Jesus chose to die for us. Because of His death for us, we cannot live for ourselves again but for Him. Specifically this is to show the world His life, the new life different from the world view and practically difficult for the world to comprehend because it is the Holy Spirit that inspires it. He died in our place to make us dead to natural laws and the natural ways of life of a natural man which will repay evil for evil, will keep malice and live in unforgiveness. As a matter of truth, we lose the ability to live the sinful natural life by accepting Jesus as our Lord and saviour. The ability to sin and please the devil is all gone because we now live in the light and darkness cannot comprehend the light. Halleluyah.

Point Of Emphasis: I live for Jesus, singularly to show the world His life, the new life different from the world view.

Prayer Points: May the Holy Spirit grant me the grace today to live the supernatural life which empowers me to repay evil with good.
