Keeping Your Garment Spotless
2 Pet. 3:10-14
“The day of the Lord” here refers to the consummation of the ages when the present heavens and earth are destroyed by God’s fiery judgment and are replaced by the creation of the New Heaven and the New Earth (Rev. 21-22). In view of the impending danger looming over the world and the unrighteous, we must not become attached to the world system or things within it. Our values and goals must centre upon God with a view to living a holy life without spot.
Point of Emphasis: Be diligent to be found in Him in peace without spot and blameless.
Prayer Point: My Lord and my God, wash me clean and keep me blameless in You.
