Freely You Have Received, Freely Give
Matt. 10:1-8
Jesus is a good Master who taught the disciples the art of preaching the gospel and winning souls. He then wanted to know how they had learnt and how they could be doing the work when He would no more be with them and then sent them on a practical or industrial attachment. However, he equipped them for the journey by giving them power to cast out demons and to heal all kinds of sickness and disease. He then warned them not to commercialise the power He had given them but to use it freely for the good of the people. You too have the power of God with you but it may not manifest until you begin to preach the gospel.
Point of Emphasis: As you go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Prayer Point: Lord, release fresh grace and power on me to preach the gospel.

Jésus est un bon maître qui enseigna à ses disciples l’art de prêcher l’évangile et de gagner des âmes. Il voulait alors savoir leur niveau de connaissance en la matière et comment ils s’y prendront quand il ne serait plus avec eux et qu’ils les auraient envoyés faire un stage pratique ou industriel. Cependant, il les équipa pour le voyage en leur donnant le pouvoir de chasser les démons et de guérir toutes sortes de maladies. Il les avertit donc de ne pas commercialiser le pouvoir qu’il leur a donné mais de l’utiliser gratuitement pour le bien des gens. Tu as aussi le pouvoir de Dieu avec toi mais il ne se manifesterait que lorsque tu aurais commencé à prêcher l’évangile.
Point essentiel : Comme tu vas, prêche en disant que le royaume des cieux est proche.
Axe de prière : Seigneur, relâche sur moi une nouvelle grâce et puissance pour prêcher l’évangile.
