Christ’s Resurrection Verified Historically

Matt. 28:9-10

The Angel’s response to the women who had remained loyal to Jesus is the first proof of Christ’s resurrection – “He is not here; for he is risen “as he said”. After Jesus’ resurrection, He remained on Earth for 40 days, appearing and talking to the apostles and many of His followers (Jn. 20:11-18; Matt. 28:9-10; Lk. 24:34, etc). Jesus’ declaration to Mary Magdalene and the other Mary “Be not afraid” (verse 10) gives rest of mind to all His faithful. There is no reason for the glorious church to become timid in the midst of this wicked world that reject Him. Anyone that remains loyal to Him shall have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. You must take responsibility to herald that gospel of Jesus resurrection so that others too will not be ashamed when He shall appear.

Point of Emphasis:Be not afraid” glorious thing awaits you today and in the future. Just be loyal.

Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, I receive the grace to be loyal so that I will not be ashamed when You shall appear.
